What will it cost me?

£50 per annum to be placed on the database (paid 1 year in advance).

A free listing is available but we cannot not guarantee exposure of your details to potential employers, however.

How does it work?

Fill out the form with general details and attach a CV if you wish.
When an employer makes a request, the details are checked against the profiles you have placed in the database.

If you match the requirement, you will be contacted with the details and you decide if you wish to proceed.

Assuming you do, the contact details will be sent to the employer who will be asked to get in touch directly with you to set up an interview or meeting. If, for any reason you don't wish to be considered for this position, your details will not be sent.

Are there any hidden costs?

None. A one time charge will be levied on the employer per referral. Thereafter there is no cost to either party from this service.

What do I get by being listed as a UF0?

Exposure to employers looking to fill a position, provided your details fill their requirement.

What guarantees do I have?

There are none - just a dedicated team matching your details to the requirements of the employer. This is a referral service which covers most employers in the area and only exposes details of people 50 & over. Preliminary surveys suggest that many employers would use such a scheme.

Who negotiates with the employer?

You do. Whatever you agree on is what you get paid and the terms and conditions are between you.

How do I get paid?

Directly from the employer in the terms you agree between yourselves.

Can I work as an independent contractor?

So long as you are registered as self-employed and the contract falls within the IR35 Rule.

Who looks after Taxation and NI?

You do together with the employer depending on the agreed contract.

How can I be sure that my details will be offered to potential employers?

Like you, we have suffered job rejection since turning 50. As a result we determined to do something about it and to help others in a similar situation. It's our belief that the more experienced, mature worker has much to offer.

What are the risks?

An outlay of £50 to be included on the database. Normal employment and contractual risks.

What skills will be covered?

Everyone over 50 will be eligible for entry on the database irrespective of skill or level. Your CV and details will determine where referrals will be made.

There are none - just a dedicated team matching your requirements to the skills of the referee. This is a referral service which covers many independent or unemployed workers in the area and only gives details of people 50 & over. Preliminary surveys suggest that many workers will use this scheme.

What are the benefits to me?

You get a choice of qualified, dedicated, mature workers that will require minimal training. Often they will be able to step in to a post and act as required because of their experience. Their understanding of your needs is likely to be greater and they are less likely to be looking for other, better paid positions. All this at known cost to you.

You get in touch direct to set up an interview or meeting. If successful, let us have the details and you will be charged £100 per successful referral. Otherwise, there is no cost to you.
